Associate Clinician

Welcome! My name is Lauren Leon and I am an Associate Clinician, having recently graduated from Chapman’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. I am a proud panther and also teach an LGBTQ+ class at Chapman. I am excited you’re here and appreciate you taking the leap into therapy. Therapy made a big difference for me and I hope that it can be impactful for you.

As a person centered and solution focused therapist, it is important for me to learn your story and to work collaboratively with you to find goals and solutions. I really enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and their families and have done so for most of my life. In this work it’s important for me to see how the family system can be shaping an individual's thoughts, beliefs, and actions.

Some specialties of mine include grief, complex trauma, and sexual and gender identity as well as self esteem and anxiety. As a member of the queer community, it is important for me to create a safe space for all individuals. By being open-minded and non-judgmental, I give clients space to explore all parts of themselves.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, my cat, and family and friends. I love movies, game nights, and trying new restaurants. I also love to travel, weight-lift, go for walks, and do yoga. I am an avid sports fan and can usually be found rooting for one of the many teams I follow.

Fee: $90-130 per 55 min session
