Dioni Kwan

Hello! I’m Dioni, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor here at Feelings and Rainbows. Navigating through life’s challenges can be daunting as there isn’t always a clear path leading to your desired destination. Therapy can act as a support and non-judgemental space to help you discover how you wish to interact with the world, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you explore which paths you wish to take.

 

My therapeutic style focuses on collaboration and empowerment, while tailoring sessions to incorporate approaches that align your values, identities, and ways of expression. I also incorporate various modalities including Narrative Therapy, Geek Therapy, and strength-based approaches. My goal is to create a space where you can tell your story and develop or identify skills that can help you reach your goals and needs. 

 

Some of my specialties include working with stress, self-esteem, perfectionism, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, identity exploration (sexual, racial, etc.), intersectionality, emotional development, intergenerational trauma, and family dynamics. Much of my therapeutic experience also includes working with a diverse population of teens within an academic setting. 

 

In my free time I love journaling, playing story-based video games, trying out new restaurants or cafes, reading a lot (mostly fantasy or other fictional works), and watching anime.

Fee: $110-150 per 55 min session
