Bea Ta, AMFT
(they/she)
Associate Clinician
Hello! My name is Bea and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Feelings and Rainbows. Welcome— and thank you for taking the steps to continue on your path of self-development. I hope I can be of service in walking alongside you during this process.
A bit about me: I’m a second generation Vietnamese-American born from immigrant parents and identify as a queer/non-binary lesbian. My therapeutic experience is largely in community mental health and educational settings working with children, teens and families of culturally diverse and vulnerable populations. Through my personal and clinical experiences, I approach therapy through an intersectional, and trauma-informed lens. My specialties include working with identity (sexual, gender, racial etc.), self-esteem, neurodivergence, grief, anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, intergenerational trauma, interpersonal conflicts, codependency, parenting and family dynamics.
In my therapeutic space, I can offer an approachable, collaborative, and light-hearted environment to address your individual needs. I draw from modalities such as: Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, DBT, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness. I am open to working with individuals, teens, families, and couples.
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my parrot named Chamomile, making art/crafting, going to live music events, trying new cuisine, watching documentaries, playing video games, and thrifting for interesting items!

Fee: $110-150 per 55 min session
